    It’s a Metroid/Castlevania style… underwater.
You gotta love it, like Braid and many others indipendent games, that, in fact, overclass many so called “modern games”.

  2. Amygondor says:

It looks like a ripoff from ecco the dolphin, mixed with some maginc from FF

  3. Andreagalarkin says:

This reminds me metroid underwater. It’s a nice concept. I would like to see the same concept with battle ships and mechs with the same game play format.

@merkantillian Sounds like you don’t appreciate a challenge. There are only “dead ends” if you’re going to a place that you shouldn’t be going yet, and I for one think the developers made it pretty clear (generally) where to proceed. The forms are for versatility in gameplay, not to be “balanced” and to keeps you on your toes during the boss fights. There’s plenty of variety in level design and a plethora of enemies. Not all good games need customization. :P

  5. merkantillian says:

The first levels of Aquaria are great, then it gets mediocre. It becomes more of an open world with constant dead ends. It would have been a great game if more thought had been put into level design and especially the character itself. There is no customisation and the forms you get are very uneven in power – Nature Form does little to nothing while Beast Form is immense. To have an ok experience with the game, it is recommended to be on google the whole time. Wouldn’t pay £7 for it.

  6. Brazinger2 says:

@LaughingUltros There are enemies and action already 10mins into the game :p This game has action and ambience combined – I like Action games and I also love Ambience games, but this have both :D

  7. Firrodrigolosofia says:

You know, I keep thinking! How can 1 game made by 3 people, mostly by 1 in fact be so amazing and immersive, while there are ton of millionaires titles produced by thousands of people lasting years to release, and when it does nothing but bore. Boring games, same of the same, and most of them are full of glitches and almost always doesn’t delivery half of the experience as this game does!

  8. KjMighty says:

the music reminds me of Requiem for a Dream

  9. davitsk1 says:

    The soundtrack is pretty awesome

  10. LaughingUltros says:

Nice to see the game has action.
I bought the bundle and tried this game for like 10 minutes, I got the impression it was boring and had no action, but this trailer clearly shows there are enemies and such later on.
This looks good, I’ll play more later.

  11. Blaqueharte says:

@jherazob It’s called an opinion. Judging by your immaturity, it’s safe to assume that you weren’t born in the “correct timeframe” either. Grow the fuck up.

  12. jherazob says:

    @LDXlator Aren’t anything to write home about….

AREN’T ANYTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT?!?!?!

You either clearly underestimate the Introversion games, or you were born in the wrong timeframe to enjoy them, they’re built on nostalgia.

    I agree on Aquaria though.

  13. LDXlator says:

This game alone is well worth the price of the Humble Introversion Bundle, even though the other games aren’t anything to write home about. Stellar piece of work, can hardly believe two guys put this together in just two years. I am spellbound.

  14. SuperFetaCheese says:

Just got it in the Humble Indie Bundle :P Why have I never heard of this before hand!? Btw I don’t want to sound like an annoying advertiser but you can get this and like 3 more games for really cheap with the humble indie bundle…

  15. lforlight says:

    @raffa0001 Try Trine.

  16. srakaaaaaa says:

This game is a MASTERPIECE. Period. If you don’ have it, just buy the Humble Bundle (12 days remaining) and experience one of the best things in your life :P

  17. ronackostolomac says:

    this game is soooooooo epic
its in sum bundle now :P

  18. Vhourgannox says:

Not sure why this seems to remind me a little bit of Metroid Fusion. Makes me tempted to buy it.

  19. WralthAndFloritz says:

I didnt know samus aran became a mermaid

But then again, she sort of forgot the baby

  20. bonanw says:

Just finished my first playthrough on the iPad. It’s so good!! I can’t believe a two-people team did this. And wow, I didn’t know how to get rid of the leeches the whole time…should’ve watched this sooner. I always just zoned out and back in to get rid of them lol.

  21. H2oRiz says:

It’s like castlevania, in that it ends with -ia

  22. 468racoon says:

where can i get the sun form?:( pls help guys

  23. FireBomberBassist says:

Looks like echo the dolphins but with a sea monkey

  24. thatbennyguy says:

@Flevalt It’s a well-made, enchanting exploration of a beautiful, imaginative world. Easily accessible and thoroughly enjoyable, atmospheric and gorgeous, it’s an amazing mash-up of a classic NES adventure and that fish-tank screensaver you had in the ’90′s.

  25. Flevalt says:

Do you just dive all day in this game and beat enemies on the way or what?
If that’s the only things you can do, sounds kinda boring doesn’t it?
